Women battle thief
Police charged a Pasadena man Sunday with trying to snatch a purse from a 48-year-old woman after she and another woman refused to let go of the handbag.
The two women, Cecila Fish of Baltimore and Amy Wayland, 31, of Glen Burnie, were dragged about 30 feet before the man gave up and ran away. Neither woman was injured.
Police said Ms. Fish was outside the Giant Food at 6626 Ritchie Highway around 1 p.m. when Ryan Arthur Richards, 21, of 8561 Beacon Point Road, walked up and tried to grab her purse. Ms. Fish told police she did not let go though, and then Ms. Wayland,...
