Nino Briscuso
Nino Thomas Briscuso, 84, a resident of Stevensville for 12 years, died of complications from cancer Nov. 9 at his home after a three-year illness.
Born April 27, 1922, in Washington, D.C., Mr. Briscuso graduated from Wilson High School in the district and attended Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg. Following high school, he played professional baseball with the old St. Louis Browns organization. The Browns later became the Baltimore Orioles.
