Mrs. Johnson was born in Durham, N.C., on June 10, 1924, and graduated from Western High School in Washington, D.C.
She retired in 1993 after working as an administrative assistant at the former David Taylor Research and Development Center in Annapolis.
Mrs. Johnson was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her family, she enjoyed cross stitch, quilting, sewing, crossword puzzles, cooking, baking and her cat.
