Richard Lee "Dick" Belcher, 83, a resident of Glen Burnie for 45 years and previously of Annapolis, died Jan. 16 at his home after a long battle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
The son of the late Beulah Peebles and Arthur Belcher, Mr. Belcher was born Sept. 7, 1923, in Berlin, Pa. He grew up and attended public schools in Akron, Ohio, graduating from South Akron High School where he was a member of the wrestling and swim teams.
