Fight after game
Community rivalry sparked a fight between two boys after a basketball game at the Stanton Center Thursday night, city police said.
Two police officers were standing by between basketball games at the center, at 92 W. Washington St., around 9 p.m.
One of the officers was watching a team warm up following another game when he heard a loud noise of glass breaking behind him. The officer looked into the lobby and saw two teen boys fighting. He noticed the other officer was already trying to break up the fight, and jumped in to help, police said.
