Wheelchair theft
Two men were arrested Sunday after they were caught trying to steal a wheelchair from the Annapolis Marriott Hotel, city police said.
At 3:30 a.m. a security officer called police to the hotel at 80 Compromise St.
The security officer told police he responded to a noise complaint on the third floor of the hotel, and saw two men leaving with the hotel's wheelchair, police said.
The wheelchair was being used by state Del. Hattie Harrison, D-Baltimore, and no one else had permission to use it, the guard told police.
