Martin Clair
Martin H. Clair, 87, a resident of Annapolis for 17 years, died of natural causes March 13 at the Tate Hospice House in Linthicum.
He was born April 13, 1920, in Allentown, Pa.
He was the president and chief executive officer of Skilled Engineering Services Company, which served major corporations throughout southern New England.
Formerly of Orange, Conn., Mr. Claire was an avid and prize-winning amateur photographer and an inveterate story teller. He enjoyed theater, painting and classical music.
He is preceded in death by his wife, the late Selma Clair whom he married in 1946.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Clair of New York City and Jeff Clair of Washington, D.C.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by George P. Kalas Funeral Home in Edgewater.

Donna Clingan
Donna Miller-Clingan, 60, a resident of Millersville for 25 years, died of pancreatic cancer March 12 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Born October 14, 1947, she was raised in Brooklyn Park and resided in Severn for 10 years.
Ms. Miller-Clingan graduated from Brooklyn Park High School in 1965 and Waynesburg College in 1969. She earned her master's degree in education from Johns Hopkins in 1991 and worked in the Anne Arundel County Public School System.
Ms. Miller-Clingan was a social studies teacher at Central Middle School and Brooklyn Park High School, a guidance counselor at Central Middle School, assistant principal at Magothy River Middle and principal at Magothy River Middle School and Lindale Middle School.
She was a past member of Shipley's Choice Garden Club, enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, knitting with neighbors and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her father, Donald W. Harryman.
Survivors include her husband, Richard R. Clingan, of Millersville, whom she married May 28, 1992; her mother, Mildred M. Harryman of Millersville; one son, Craig D. Miller of Rockville; one daughter, Tracie M. Machi of Severn; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service is at 4 p.m. Monday at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 400 Benfield Road.
Interment is private. Arrangement are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.

Linda Collins
Linda Lou Collins, 60, of Hurlock for three years and previously of Annapolis, died March 11 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born October 22, 1947 in Upper Marlboro, she was a housekeeping supervisor with The Maids in Glen Burnie.
Her hobbies included gardening, boating and arts and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, James M. Collins, whom she married July 28, 1989; her mother, Lois Mae Griffin of Colonial Beach, Va.; three daughters, Eleanor L. Frank of Annapolis, Denise W. Saumenig of Millersville and Tammy L. Collins of Worton; one son, William J. Smith of Pasadena; one brother, Charles R. Griffin Jr. of Hurlock; four sisters, Bonnie J. Roberts of Harwood; Sandra S. Chaney of Lothian; Charlene R. Hooks of Colonial Beach, Va.; Shirley A. Hyde of Colonial Beach, Va.; and 11 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles R. Griffin; and one son, James M. Collins, Jr.
Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St.
The funeral is at 10 a.m. Monday at the Naval Academy Chapel. Enter the grounds through Gate 8. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Mary Fertitta
Mary Tamburo Fertitta, 97, a resident of Arnold for 39 years, died of heart failure March 12 at her home.
Born Dec. 8, 1910, and raised in Baltimore, she married the late Emmanuel "Manny" Fertitta in 1935.
In addition to being a homemaker, she was the bookkeeper for her late husband's business, the Liberty Fruit Company in Baltimore.
She enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Severna Park.
She is survived by one son, Neal V. Fertitta of Arnold.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park.
A funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 609 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Interment will be in the New Cathedral Cemetery, 4300 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore.

Emory Holland
Emory Stephen "Steve" Holland, 53, of a resident of Baltimore for 10 years and previously of Annapolis, died of an aneurism March 9 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness.
Mr. Holland was born May 17, 1954, in Harwood to Vivan Holland of Odenton, and attended Annapolis High School.
He retired from the Government Commissary in Annapolis.
Mr. Holland served in the Army.
He enjoyed listening to Tupac, spending time with family and friends, playing cards and telling his war stories.
Survivors include his former wife, Dorcell Holland; four sons, Mickeen, Emory, Dawan and James Holland of Glen Burnie; two daughters, Shekia and Tynia Holland of Glen Burnie; two brothers, Michael and Reginald Holland of Annapolis; four sisters, Vivian Cornish of Annapolis, Aris Holland of Pasadena, Sundae Watkins of Gambrills and Tenicko Watkins of Odenton; and five grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit at 9 a.m. Monday at Reese and Sons Mortuary, 821 West St. A Christian wake will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11 a.m.
Margaret McKendry
Margaret M. McKendry, 77, a resident of Annapolis since 1984, died of natural causes March 12 at the Annapolis Senior Residential Center.
Previously of Fairfax, Va., she was born Sept. 13, 1930, in Philadelphia. She graduated from Kensington High School in Pennsylvania.
She was an auto parts manager for 20 years for Ray Burnett Volkswagen and was a member of the Fleet Reserve Club.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. McKendry.
Survivors include two sons, Robert J. McKendry Jr. of Charlottesville, Va., and William J. McKendry of Fairfax, Va.; one sister, Alice Johns of Philadelphia; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St. Interment will be private.
