ANNAPOLIS AREA 

Man assaulted

 

Police charged a man with assault after he allegedly hit another man with a bottle during a bar fight, city police said.

At about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, police were called to Whiskey 1803 on West Street for the report of several people fighting.

A person not involved with the fight stepped out the front door of the bar and was hit in the head with a bottle, police said.

Bryan E. Bailey, 25, of Arnold, was charged with first- and second-degree assault, police said.
