Thursday's obituary recognizes: Michael Hinson

Michael Hinson

Michael Alphonsus Hinson, 28, a resident of Crofton for 16 years and previously of Bowie, died of cancer Aug. 3 at the University of Maryland Medical Center after an illness lasting 10 years.

Mr. Hinson was born Oct. 15, 1979, in Prince George's County to Carolyn and Eugene Hinson Sr. of Crofton. He graduated from high school and worked as a manager at Domino's Pizza for 10 years.

He enjoyed cars, fishing, model trains and building model cars.

Survivors include four brothers, Eugene Hinson Jr. of Glen Burnie, David Hinson of West Virginia, Ray Hinson of Virginia and Rick Hinson of North Carolina; and two sisters, Debbie Brown of Riverdale and Lynn Heron of New Mexico.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville. Arrangements are by Singleton Funeral Home.

The family requests that no flowers be sent.
