Man falls into boat
A man in Deale was flown by Maryland State Police medevac helicopter to Prince George's Trauma Center late yesterday after falling face-first into a boat, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
Medics received the call at about 6:15 p.m., fire department Lt. Frank Fennell said.
The man, 50, was stepping into the boat when his foot caught in the mooring line, Fennell said. The boat was anchored at Harbor Cove Marina, and the MSP helicopter landed at Deale Elementary School.
Privacy laws prohibit releasing the man's name, Fennell said.

Boy falls from tree
County fire and rescue personnel responded to a call shortly before 6 p.m. yesterday for a boy who had fallen out of a tree in the 7800 block of Clark Station Road in Severn.
The boy, 7, fell about 15 feet, according to Lt. Frank Fennell of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
The child, whose name was not released, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported by ground ambulance to the Johns Hopkins Children's Center in Baltimore, Lt. Fennell said.
