Officer hits trailer
An Annapolis police officer ran into a city-owned boat trailer Tuesday evening in the Police Department parking lot on Taylor Avenue.
According to the accident report filed with city police, two cars were parked illegally, limiting the amount of space the officer had to back out of his space. The officer hit the boat trailer as he was trying to navigate the cramped area, the report said. No one was injured, and the report did not detail the amount of damage to the trailer or car.
