ANNAPOLIS AREAPoor box arrest An Annapolis man was arrested Saturday for allegedly stealing from a poor box at St. Mary's Catholic Church, city police said. Police viewed video from the church's new security system and identified James Allen Thomas, 39, of Knockwood Court, Arnold, as the suspect. Thomas has been a habitual petty criminal with alcohol and drug charges as well as robberies since the mid-90s, according to court records.
