Stephen Michael Eckholm, 47, of Temple Hills, admitted to taking $381,236.69 from his company, EMS Technologies in Crofton, from 2001 to 2007.
Assistant State's Attorney Michael Cogan said Monday in Circuit Court in Annapolis that Eckholm was employed by the company from 1997 to 2007 and served as an accountant and finance officer. His responsibilities included banking functions, financial statements and preparing tax returns, Cogan said.

the judge should have let you sit in jail for the whole 10 years to teach you a lesson. and when you get out you will do it again and again. once a thief always a thief. maybe the innmates will bend you over and teach you a lesson about stealing. bubba looking for you.

i hate stories like these because he says...i wish i had it to do over again i would not do it....yes you would.... you would just try not to get caught again...you even stopped deductions out of your pay... you did this knowing what you were doing and you are a stone cold thief....plain and simple.....now go to jail and shut up....i think the judge let you off easy....
