Man gets 5 years in burglary ring

A 20-year-old man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison with all but five years suspended for his role in a burglary ring that operated in north county this summer.

Timothy Edward Rinehults, of Brooklyn, pleaded guilty Tuesday in county Circuit Court in Annapolis to five cases of first-degree burglary.

He also agreed to pay restitution on those cases plus for three other break-ins in Linthicum from May 21 to June 30.

Rinehults was one of four people charged in the string of break-ins.

Megan Woodmancy, 21, of Brooklyn, was also charged but did not go to trial, and Kari Rund, 22, received a five-year sentence with...
