Laptop recovered
A city man was arrested yesterday after police said he allegedly stole a laptop from a home on Maryland Avenue.
The victim told police he was walking in the area when he saw a man carrying a laptop case that looked exactly like his own. He went home, found that his laptop was missing and then called police. Officers found a man carrying a laptop on Washington and Monument streets. When he saw police, the man put the laptop down on a nearby porch and started walking away, police said.
