Man assaulted
A 30-year-old man was robbed early Tuesday morning in front of his home on Wye Island Court, city police said.
Officers who responded to the area at 6:28 a.m. were told by the victim that he was outside his home when a man approached him and asked for a cigarette. The victim said he didn't smoke and got into his car.
Moments later, the man opened the passenger's-side door and demanded money. When the victim refused, leaned in and started punching the victim in the face and head, police said.
The victim fought back, and the man took off running...
