Officials said Gregory Wayne Boyd used another inmate's identification card in an attempt to get an early release from the Jennifer Road Detention Center in Parole.
But unlike a similar ruse that was used successfully in Baltimore the week before, the staff noticed discrepancies in his appearance and checked his fingerprints within the county's biometric identification system, which has facial recognition and fingerprint data for each inmate.

Mr. Boyd would have gotten a lower bond after a hearing but I suppose our courts finally woke up and decided to keep him for awhile.
Then the knucklehead pulls this stunt which he could get him 5 years.
Oh he won't get 5 years as last escape got him a Nolle Pro so I suppose it was worth a try.
It seems the courts and the criminals have the same mindset.
Oh, kudos for the 'Correctional Officer' that didn't let the criminal out.
But isn't that his job in the first place?
