Safe burgled
Someone broke into a Tyler Avenue home Sunday and took an empty fireproof Brinks safe from a living room closet, city police said.
The victim returned home Monday morning to find the front door kicked in and a bedroom ransacked, police said.
An investigation is continuing.
Wallet copped
An elderly Annapolis woman's wallet was stolen Saturday while she shopped at Graul's Market on Taylor Avenue.
The 75-year-old victim told police she left her cart at about 4 p.m. to look at greeting cards. When she returned, her wallet was missing from her purse.
The wallet contained $60, a credit card and driver's license.
An investigation is continuing.
