James Mason III, 28, of 103 Simms Drive in the Admiral Heights community in Annapolis, was charged Thursday with second-degree rape, perverted practice and four counts of contributing to the condition of a minor. Did I miss Something? - 2010-07-14 23:30:59
Why did 4 girls ages 13-15 from Baltimore City go to a 28 year old man's house in Anne Arundel county, one of them having sex with the man not once but twice, and then allowing the man to provide them with alcohol and drugs.
Did I miss something?
People criticize me for my rants on bad parenting and this Pathetic excuse for a human being (Mason) is picking up 13-15 year old girls off of the internet.
Once again but certainly not the first time I shake my head.

Overcrowding - 2010-07-14 20:14:07
The problem is judges are so worried about overcrowding in the jails around here they never impose the maximum and sometimes not even the minimum.Personally who cares if the prisons are overcrowded and the prisoners are uncomfortable.

Why not still in prison? - 2010-07-14 18:27:14
This man was convicted of a violent rape of a child in 2007 according to the prior story.
3 years later and Maryland allows him to walk the streets?
I strongly suggest you good folks do something about the seriously poor state of your so-called justice system.

a good example - 2010-07-14 13:07:35
Mason stands as a good example of the cold fact that sexual predators simply cannot be reformed or "changed" to mesh with society. This individual is deviant because of his genetic "wiring" and no amount of well-intended intervention, drug therapy, or 'coping strategies' will change his predisposition to prey upon the naivete of others. This individual sees this as 'opportunities'. It is past the time of attempting to reform people like Mason and high time to protect the rest of society from them. Obviously, his compliance with the registration system did absolutely nothing to prevent his continuing to indulge in his perversion.
