At just after 9 p.m. a man walked into the High's Dairy Store in the 5700 block of Deale Churchton Road and demanded money, said Justin Mulcahy, a county police spokesman. The clerk told police the man kept his hand inside his shirt, implying he had a weapon, but never showed one.
The clerk refused to hand over any cash and the man ran out of the store toward Bay Front Road East, where a woman was waiting.
