An atheist advocacy group is calling for a north county delegate to apologize after he chastised a 70-year-old Brooklyn Park woman for questioning the Christian prayer said before meals at her neighborhood senior center. The state director for American Atheists Inc. wants Del. Don Dwyer Jr. to apologize to Margaret Sayre for saying that atheists should build their own senior center "where you won't have to hear any prayers." David Condo, the state director for American Atheists, issued a statement decrying Mr. Dwyer's letter on Friday, but said he has been working with Ms. Sayre since she received the "condescending" March...
