Take Greg Nourse. The Republican county executive hopeful doesn't have the money or name recognition of other candidates. But an authority on the Internet and politics said his Web site stands out for its simplicity.
Mr. Nourse's site has "good use of symbolism of the state of Maryland, a simple picture of the candidate, (the) latest news, and calls to action to encourage constituents to get involved in his campaign," wrote Karen Jagoda of the San Diego-based E-Voter Institute in an e-mail.
