The next governor might be able to save a little bit of money on hiring lobbyists: Both running mates have experience trying to convince lawmakers to side with them.
On the Democratic ticket is Del. Anthony G. Brown, the current majority whip in the state legislature. His job is to press lawmakers to vote with the party, and count votes for the speaker of the House.
