Obama, McCain win in state as ice extends votingPublished 02/12/08
BALTIMORE - Democrat Barack Obama kept his winning streak going Tuesday by capturing the Maryland presidential primary, and Republican John McCain added to his gigantic lead for his party's nomination. Obama had nearly 60 percent of the vote in Maryland, where polls were kept open an extra 90 minutes statewide to give voters more time to get through traffic gridlock caused by icy weather.
