Anne Arundel County voters approved the appointment of Circuit Court Judge J. Michael Wachs in the primary election this week, sealing his seat on the bench for the next 15 years.
In December, Gov. Martin O'Malley appointed Judge Wachs, a former district court judge, to fill the vacancy left by retiring Judge Joseph P. Manck.
