Political Notes:Schuh, Rosapepe score well on environmental issuesPublished 06/12/08
Del. Steve Schuh of Pasadena is the highest-scoring Republican and Sen. Jim Rosapepe of College Park is among the top-scoring Democrats on the latest environmental scorecard from the Maryland League of Conservation Voters. The LCV's staff ranked lawmakers based on key environmental votes during the 2008 General Assembly session, including votes on global warming, renewable energy, revising shoreline development laws, and delying a ban on phosphorus in dish detergent. The scores are out of a possible top score of 100. The scorecard was issued this morning during an event in Annapolis and will be posted at |
