Secretary of State has no plans for recusal on slots
Secretary of State John McDonough says he doesn't plan to recuse himself from preparing ballot language for November's referendum on slot machine gambling.
But an anti-slots group says he should after he worked nearly 20 years for a horse racing track.
Mr. McDonough says condensing ballot language for referendums is part of his job, required by statute, and the details of the referendum have already been decided by the General...
