Just another NIMBY- Not In My Back Yard. I want to fix the problem, just as long as it doesn't interfere with any thing I want.

Really, I thought the first sentence from the article "Gov. Martin O'Malley admits he's not really sure how to best solve complex problems relating to looming energy shortfalls" summed up his run of the state thus far.

Peter D. you are uninformed about O'Malley's decision to save Maryland's forested public lands. We need to preserve the remaining old-growth stands and other timber on public lands to preserve water quality in the state's streams, rivers, and bays. The governor is actually encouraging alternative energy generation far more than his predecessor ever did, just on more open and available private lands. This approach also provides more state tax income without choking the fish and wildlife so many people come to this state to enjoy. Research your rants more carefully next time!

So where's the plan? - 2008-08-17 12:20:34
Sounded like a bunch of we are going to this, we are going to do that, which all sound good-but there's nothing there. Similar to his campaign promises. Fool us once, shame on you, fool us twice....
