Delegate wants county voters to show IDPublished 11/21/08
A state delegate wants Anne Arundel County to become the first jurisdiction in Maryland to require a voter to present photo identification before casting a ballot on Election Day. Del. Nic Kipke, R-Pasadena, said he will submit legislation this session in order to combat potential voter fraud. The legislation would require Anne Arundel County voters to present a government-issued photo identification card to confirm who they are at the polls.
