Computer whizzes at the state combined property records and land preservation data and piled it on maps and satellite images to create a system called "GreenPrint." It's posted online at www.greenprint.maryland.gov.
Clicking on the maps reveals layers and layers of data, showing where the state has bought land and where the state would like to buy land in the future.
