Maryland's newest member of Congress has been named to the House of Representatives Armed Services Committee and the House Agriculture Committee.
Rep. Frank Kratovil, D-Queen Anne's, who represents the 1st Congressional District, said serving on the armed services committee will allow him to improve the quality of life for men and women in the Armed Forces who live in the district and work at area military installations.
