Sen. E.J. Pipkin, R-Eastern Shore, whose district includes the eastern half of the bridge, has been outspoken on its dangers since a fatal crash in August, when a tractor-trailer swerved to avoid an oncoming car and crashed through Jersey barriers whose supports were later found to be corroded.

As usual, I'm sure we'll wait until there is some type of major problem with this bridge until something is done. No reason to be pro active. Look at the bridge that fell down during rush hour in Minn....... I believe they just finished rebuilding. THINK ABOUT IT !!!!!!!

I sincerely hope they make some kind of decision before it falls down. At this rate nothing will ever get done. Fix the problem before it becomes unfixable. Make a decision for the good of Maryland for once. Care!!!
