Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele will be the guest speaker at this month's Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner held by the Republican State Central Committee of Anne Arundel County, organizers announced this week.
Steele is the former lieutenant governor of Maryland and the first African American to hold the national office of RNC chairman. He has recently made headlines over a disagreement with Republican commentator Rush Limbaugh. Organizers called Steele a "hometown hero."
