Of the 7,711 people called for jury duty during the first 10 months of 2009, only 10 failed to come to court, said Acting Jury Commissioner Marci L. Bailey. That is a failure rate of less than .0013 percent.
"It is fantastic," she said, describing the people of Anne Arundel County as very "civic-minded."
