Amos Jones had everything ship-shape when the Coast Guard stopped Little Mo, his 33-foot boat, Friday just outside of Fishing Creek.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Robert Brazzell slips into an immersion suit, which crews on commercial fishing vessels wear during cold weather months. The suit protects against freezing temperatures and hypothermia.The stop was part of the Coast Guard's Operation Safe Catch, during which their teams board boats to make sure commercial watermen and recreational boaters are carrying the proper emergency gear. The crew was pleased to see that Jones had everything he needed: an immersion suit, an air horn, a 20-inch life ring with a 60-foot line and three day and night flares.
