Widening the BW Parkway - 2009-12-16 13:06:31
What a waste of money. This is not the first study, and what is the study going to find. There is too much traffic for a 2 lane road divided highway. The Federal Government made the decision last decade that I-95 was supposed to be the interstate highway for traffic and that that Interior Department Chief wanted to keep the beauty of the parkway and that's why they spent all that money on new brick sidewalls for the bridges.

Why not? - 2009-12-16 12:25:45
After reading this I couldn't help but to think about how the federal government and the mafia are so much alike.
Take for example: the feds have successfully taken over the prostitution, drugs, and gambling rackets and now (or have been) trying to take over the rest of what little freedoms we have ... the one difference I see is that the mob calls it hush or protection money and the feds call it EARMARKS. Or even better yet - the mob says skimming, the feds call it earmarking.
