This bill is a long time coming and should be supported by anyone concerned with protecting the health and the lives their children and friends. I am a tanning bed melanoma survivor. I was told tanning beds were healthier for you than going in the sun and that is a deadly myth. Please pass this along and get as may people as possible to contact their legislators to support this! Your chances of contracting malignant melanoma increase by 75% if you use a tanning bed in your 20s it's a fact why allow businesses to prey on young girls? Make your voices heard!

"Tanning salons bill possibly in jeopardy"? This bad piece of legislation should have been voted down on the spot. The Capital writer is showing his anti-business, pro-nanny state bias.
This bill is just more anti-business legislation for more bad public policy.
The anti-tanning salon groups will never be satisfied until all small businesses offering tanning are closed. They earn their living trying to hurt honest entrepreneurs.
Hopefully, our County Council votes for jobs and against more unnecessary government regulation.
The government has no business sneaking into your (tanning) bed. It is more chipping away at Freedom.

Poor little small business, cancer will kill them, We must protect the small business from cancer !!!!
I think then the burden of notify the tanning bed people must go to the fed, for the fed can fund a large public service announcement blitz as soon as spring has sprung.
We can't let a thing like cancer snuff out the small businesses.
