ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — A Baltimore senator wants to bring table games like craps, poker and roulette to Maryland to help the state's tourism industry. Find Us On Facebook
Sen. Catherine Pugh, D-Baltimore, urged a Senate panel Tuesday to support a public vote on whether to amend the state constitution to allow table games in Maryland. Pugh also is sponsoring a separate bill to have the state study the financial impact of expanding gambling to include such games in the state. She notes that surrounding states including Delaware, West Virginia and Pennsylvania have already approved table games.
