The question was among a dozen topics put to 640 residents in the semiannual survey from the Center for the Study of Local Issues at Anne Arundel Community College.

Do you favor the slot petition? Is not the same as, do you favor slots? Do you favor slots to help balance the budget gap? Polling and the resulting statistics can be more art than science.
