Girls basketball: Broadneck's Brown triggers girls starsPublished 03/16/05
Broadneck forward Tiera Brown had gone largely unnoticed this year in a county featuring a number of high profile teams and Division I players. However, in her final game and on her home court, Brown showed area girls basketball fans that she is a player not to be taken lightly at last night's 17th annual Anne Arundel County Senior All-Star Basketball Classic. Brown scored 11 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, had two blocks and two steals in leading her Capital-Gazette All-Stars (South) past the Hart Foundation All-Stars (North), 57-52, at Broadneck.
