With a one-goal lead and the clock slowly ticking down the final minutes, Severna Park played an impressive game of keepaway. The Falcons held the ball for more than a minute before Laura Burke found Allison Behringer alone in front for the game-clinching score in the Falcons' 10-8 win over Severn in the Anne Arundel Community College girls lacrosse tournament last night.
Burke, a senior co-captain, scored a game-high four goals and added two assists for the Falcons, who finished the game with a 4-0 run after Severn took an 8-6 lead with 14:36 left in the game.
