County athletics and Broadneck High in particular lost one of its most devoted and gracious volunteers last week when Allan Segree died suddenly on Friday. Segree was devoted to Broadneck while his sons attended and competed for the school, but he continued his efforts there even after they graduated. In fact, Segree was scheduled to collect tickets at the gate of the football game against Old Mill High on the night he passed on.
