Senior forward Paul Bucknor had 21 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks as the Arundel High School boys basketball team stayed hot with a 78-74 overtime win last night over host and fifth-ranked Meade.
Senior center Ray Hill added 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists for the Wildcats, who have won three straight and five of six.
"Tonight was a separation game for us," Arundel coach Tim Poole said. "We are trying to get away from the middle of the pack in the county and we have been playing very well."
Senior guard Jeff Gaston had a game-high 36 points for the Mustangs.
