Balanced Bruins edge South River

Junior J.J. Hicks scored 18 points and was one of five Bruins in double figures as top-ranked Broadneck got all it could handle from South River but held on.

Senior Dante Stansbury hit four 3-pointers and added 15 points. Clyde Gross, Charles James and Kevin Hunt each added 10 points for Broadneck.

Senior Mustapha Mahdi scored 19 points to lead South River. Dawayne Spriggs had 17 and Scott Larue scored 15.
