Severna Park High is getting a talented transfer to its boys basketball program and he'll arrive with a Division I scholarship already in hand.
Millersville resident Brad Bald announced yesterday that he has committed to play for the University of North Carolina-Wilmington and also revealed that he is transferring from Archbishop Spalding to Severna Park High for his senior season.
Bald, a 6-foot-8 forward, received 20 scholarship offers and chose UNC-Wilmington from a list of finalists that included Bucknell, Lehigh, Princeton and Vermont. He committed to head coach Benny Moss after visiting the campus in Wilmington, N.C. this past...
