Arundel football coach Chuck Markiewicz wasn't worried about his team's chances for its seventh straight win last night even though his team was trailing and was held scoreless in the first half for the first time this season.
Markiewicz knew there was no reason to panic. "With the spread offense we run, we feel that as long as we're within two scores by the time there's three minutes left in the game, we always have a chance," said Markiewicz, whose team played the Falcons last night after a pre-emptive cancellation Friday due to lightning in the forecast.
