Across the Bay- Cross cou - November 15, 2007
I'm not sure where Mr. Gross got his information concerning the girls cross country team at Kent Island high school. They DID NOT win the Bayside conference title or the Region 2A East title. Those two titles were won by the girls from Queen Anne's County High School. Not only did the QA girls win those titles but they also had an undefeated season against Maryland schools and finished second in the Tidewater Classic race which involves 3 different states. They finished 11th at the State competition, one place better than last season and they were missing one of their better runners. Please give credit where it is due...the QA Lady Lions are an awesome group of girls and had an amazing season!!
