As Chuck Markiewicz carefully worded his answer so as not to provide bulletin-board material for the Quince Orchard High School football team, I looked the veteran football coach right in the eye and tried to get a read on how he really felt about his team's chances.
"I truly believe we are a good team," the witty Arundel coach said with pure certainty. "We can sit down right now and I can show you why. Our team in the state championship is not a mistake - this was planned from the beginning." After all, the Wildcats are undefeated and it's not like they rallied from a low playoff seed. But...
