Perfection in sports is hard to come by.
The Miami Dolphins pulled it off in 1972, Brazil went undefeated (7-0) in the 2002 World Cup and heavyweight boxer Rocky Marciano retired in 1956 with a perfect 45-0 record.
Another example - a little closer to home - is the 1978 Annapolis High School football team, coached by Al Laramore, that put the finishing touches on a 12-0 season with a state title.
