County's turf plan gets OKPublished 12/13/07
The county's goal to cover 12 public school fields with artificial turf was considered a pipe dream by many when the plan was revealed last spring. Yesterday, the plan moved a step closer to reality and those days of skepticism are dwindling.
Some county coaches carried the "I'll believe it when I see it" mentality when it came to the county's plan to install the safety turf field. County Executive John R.
